Re: Let's see your AMP!
this picture is kind of outdated because my old peavey bass head was in the shop at the time, but now it's dead and i got a new head to replace it. so imagine a 70's peavey series 400 head on top of the orange avatar 2x12...

i play through all of that at once, ha! oh, the joys of being in a two-piece band!

that's not even all of it either haha. i also have a 70's silverface twin reverb, '67 ampeg b25b 2x15, some homemade 1x15 bass cab that the dude i bought my last peavey head from threw in for free. i think that's it though! i may or may not be leaving out things.

(that's my way of working within limitations to give the impression that i have successfully ejaculated because of your gear.)
edit: pretend the blood is white, because ... yeah. i'm normal.

Re: Let's see your AMP!
hah, awesome! it's definitely fun pulling up to shows with 3 heads and 4 cabs and people asking "where's the rest of your band?"
even more awesome, we're doing a mini-tour with our friends' band who are also a two piece. last time we played with them we gear shared a little and i used 4 heads and 6 cabs! the best part of all this, is that we're not remotely heavy at all. but for the tour, entitled AMP CITY TOUR, we'll both be using 3 heads and 6 cabs (two 4x12s, two 2x12s, 4x10, 2x10)
so pumped to be deaf before i hit 21!

Matamp GT2 120w twin channel head - This is a prototype and will never see the light of day. One of only two in existance!
Orange AD30 single channel 30w head
2x Ashdown PPC412 4x12 Cabs (Celestion Hot 100s loaded)

Sound City 120L 120w single channel head
2x 78' Sunn Model 5 4x12 floor standers (Original Eminence speakers inside)

I generally use the Matamp through the Sunns and the Orange through the Ashdowns both at the same time with a Lehle Dual switcher pedal.
Destroyerjazz.... fancy seeing you in another gear thread. Hahahahaha!

Re: Let's see your AMP!
haha, yes! i thought i knew that avatar picture. this always happens when i sign up for new gear boards. after being on guitargeek for years, i found out dase was on it. and then after signing up on questfortheholytone, i found out mysontheastronaut was on it. there's also this pedal we both have that there is only 2 made ever of and we found out that each other owns it from qftht board. weirddd!
