Two enter, only one may leave...(Verb deathmatch)

Post by GlitteryChunks »

:hello:

Search didn't turn up much on these two A/B'd

Nimbus vs. Mono Wet, has anyone had extensive time with both?

I've had my eye on the Mono for a while now but heard some clips of the Nimbus last night and I'm back to over thinking this.

I want BIG LUSH CAVERNY GOODNESS :snax:. I like the layout/price of these and both are supposed to work with bass.

Thoughts?

I've had both as well as the Stereo Wet and all of them are stellar.
If you play Bass, I'd go with the Nimbus due to the ability to tame the lows and keep the verb from getting muddy.

The "Pedal Customizer" feature of Stereo Wet is pretty rad too.

Yeah I was digging the Stereo Wet too but when I realized it couldn't go past 50% it was out.

Did you hear much of a difference in the sound qualities of the Verb effect of each pedal? Some of the clips I've heard made the nimbus sound like playing in the middle of big cave while the wet sounded like playing in the middle of a forest, if that makes any sense. Did you have a chance to play either in a mix with bass by chance?
