I agree with Aen, I have had both and only have a Minibrute now.
Also, Minibrute can do mellow, just turn the sliders WAY down, but aggresive is fun.

3 oscillators and that noise switch. Loving my OS as well.

I must admit Sonidero put it on my map. Some super awesome features on it for sure, the remix feature seems dope. I think this is going to be tons of fun with the Tempest.

ZING!
That ones still on my list... hope to nab one while they're still un-cool, before they are "vintage classic must have" or whatever.

My new analog-digital combo. Blofeld is quite impressive so far. You can turn it into incredible trance machine with no effort at all. And of course there is so much more! I wish it had MIDI through though.

What MIDI controller that's "good" that's "inexpensive" would work well with a MOOG Minitaur?
This is coming from someone who knows NOTHING about keyboards/synths etc.
I just might have a way of getting a Minitaur for cheap.
I was looking at Arturia and Akai stuff. Good? Bad? Again, be easy on me! I am new to this, hah.

on the CHEAP...
m-audio keyrig 25
m-audio O-ZONE 25
m-audio Oxygen 25 (old version)
edirol PCR-1
on the not-so-cheap
MPK25
don't forget the power supply. you need to power your midi controller from a power supply when not using USB. they almost never come with the power supply. check the manual for the specs. m-audio is usually 9vdc center +. I chopped up a boss adapter and reversed the + and -

Re: Let's see your KEYS/SYNTHS!
I would go for a cheaper one, if its just for the minitaur. You don't need any knobs, just keys and pitch/mod wheels. I've had a great time with the M-Audio Oxygen series, both for use with software and the Minitaur.
That said, I just scored one of them fancy Akai MPK25s. (thanks Kosta!) THEY ARE REALLY FUCKING NICE.
