What are you looking for out of your reverb? I've had both and here's my take. The Ghost Echo has that old school springy verb with just a touch of slap back and has a lot of really good ambience, its got one kind of tone but does it amazingly. The RRR is more modern sounding but more of a jack of all trades, it has a bunch of verb sounds and does them all well but none of them stood out to me as having the wow factor, but if your not sure what kind of verb you like this will allow you to try out numerous different kinds and have each one of them sound usable if not great. Both handle dirt well, and take up lil real estate. The only other major difference is the Ghost Echo is your standard true bypass switching and the RRR has soft touch relay switching. Hope this helped! Oh and can you post some board pics if you got em?

I had the ghost echo and seriously could never get a reverb tone i liked. I think you are right skip. It does one reverb well, and it's just not what i liked. the bluesky has still been killing it for me in the reverb department.

I've decided on the ghost echo, mainly because it reminds me of my CC delay...i don't like too much functionality from one pedal, i want to be simple and do one thing well...and as its going to be something that will be on the whole time, i figure i can find nice sweet spot which will be a slight amount of reverb to nicely thicken up my sound, set it and never touch it again. The CC i have, has had the same setting since the day i bought it, jsut over 3 years ago!!

But like you say, if i wanted to get different types reverb and experiment etc, Ghost echo, would not do the job

The only time I could get a sound I loved out of it was on my trip-hop board I built a while ago. I wanted some Adrian Utley (Portishead) tones and the GE nailed it, but any other musical setting and it either was too much verb or not enough, or it disappeared in the band mix. I've heard alot of reports similar to ours, either you love it or you hate it. I've been meaning to try out a bluesky for a while, but my eventide space has eliminated any and all verb GAS for me.

Thanks man! It's still got a way to go. I'm a little concerned about the Rangemaster wiring, but I have a -9v charge pump that will be going into it so it shouldn't be an issue. The knobs should be here soon to put unified knobs on everything.

Last night I just played the compressor as a boost into the Traynor. Fucking ruled
