Easy to use 8-bit toans, made by a Japanese chiptune band. Download's at the bottom.

Idiotic question, but how do you get the .component file to work in Logic?

These are my essential free VSTs for PC:

Effects:
Bertrill - Crazy high gain bitcrusher distortion
ReFuzzNik - Foldback distortion
Phase 90 - Phase 90
GreaseTube - Dirty compressor
Rescue AE - Analogizer/compressor/mastering EQ
Blockfish - Just the best studio/mastering compressor ever
Boost - A simpler kind of compressor/eq, sometimes exactly what is needed
WatKat - Watkins style tape echo
Kjaerhus Classic Delay - Simple to crazy, great control options
GlaceVerb - Underwater algorithm ftw

Instruments:
23 Words - The best randomizer/glitchy beat scrambler I've tried, perfect for making IDM/Breakcore passages, beats, breaks, fills etc
Cygnus - Beautiful ambient space synth
Analog Warfare - Super synth with an insane array of options
H.G. Fortune synths - Try as many as you can find the time for, this shit will keep you hypnotized for years on end...

Pretty much all of the Kjaerhus Audio effects are super rad. I have been using their delay for years, but recently stumbled on the rest and

You can find them all here: http://grebz.fr/musique_homestudio_tuto ... nglish.php
