Brighton is pretty nice, but if you mention Brighton, other English people will make gay jokes.
For whatever reason it seems to be the epicenter of gay-culture in England (obviously there's nothing wrong with this, I'm just imparting topical information)

Yeah, it does seem to have a lot of gay people. I'm sure that won't bother Marlon.

Awesome. My friend goes to uni there; it's a little bigger than the cities I'm used to so I hope it has a better, more active scene for you

1. Anyone ever stack phasers? I was thinking of making a dual Phase 45 where you cascaded them in 1 pedal. Ron in Curse the Son wanted a very deep phaser and this idea makes me think its possible
2. Im selling off the Subdecay FBomb I just picked up for 100. Its nothing special to me so either give me trade bait or buy it. No FF or Muffs tho. Got too many of those.
Nope, I tried a few phasers and most were too prominent or had lack of controls. I always felt they needed a clean blend so it can overtake your signal as usual or blend it in as a subtle effect (which is how I would use it)
Awww that sucks, good luck witht he sale / trade!!
On a side note, do u think it would be worthwhile to install a phase switch or an adjustable phase knob into the slave amp volume box I built? I didn't notice any low end loss or phase issues when I had the full setup going, but if maybe it can help just a lil bit it might be worth it? Or am I just being crazy?
AA you never noticed me posting in here before?
Nick, anytime I've tried two phasers together I end up with null points along the sweep, node/antinodes but it can sound cool if it's two of the same phaser at different speeds. With a dual gang pot I think you'd need a high precision pot as the tolerance between them could be pretty high so it'd accentuate the nodes. I find a depth control super useful so it doesn't take over the signal too much, I use mine around half way so say roughly 250K. For a really deep phaser I'd try using a much bigger depth resistor or pot say 1meg instead of 500K. Mix knob does sound cool though, might have to try that for my 90.
Can record an example of two cascading Phase 90s if you want and possibly stick in a 1meg depth pot and see how that sounds too..

That's cool just thought it'd be funny to point it out. Hope I didn't make it any rougher on ya.
Do it, it's fast taking over as my go to delay ahead of the Echobase, especially loving vocals through the Binson setting. I've also added a tweaked EP Booster up front and an active DI and then both XLR and 1/4" jacks for the ins and outs so it works for vocals and guitars/oscillators. Both outs work all the time so last in chain it can also be used as a direct box to FOH. Both ins will work at the same time but it just causes a mess obviously enough.

New Kylesa song. Digging it.
I'm liking this ALOT![]()

I kinda prefer it to the last album.
this is awesome...never heard of these guys before...which albums a good one to start with?
Static Tensions is a good starting point. Second to last full length they put out. Personally, I like everything they have put out. To Walk a Middle Course is one of my favorite records along with Static Tensions. They have a bunch of splits worth a listen as well. Their split with Cream Abdul Babar is fucking rad.

It is.
Once I get my bass overdrive/pre/tone shaper finished up it'll have the active DI out too. Should give it some nice extra selling points. While I'm here what would you guys be looking for in a bass/down tuned overdrive/pre/tone shaper in an ideal world?
At the moment I'm thinking dirt/boost/3 band eq/balanced out and enough volume/voltage on tap to run a power amp. Maybe an optional effects loop too which could maybe be blendable.

So something like this:

But with built in Dirt and Boost? Could be pretty cool, I thought about that when ordering this from nick but I preferred to be able to swap out my dirt and or boost for which ever pedal I needed for the gig / recording. Which as of right now is just a Verellen Big Spider.
