Mountainking Electronics
Has anyone ever heard/used/owned any of Mountainking's pedals? I have a prototype of his "Super Huge Bass Fuzz" which i guess he never added to his line, and it's really awesome variable gate buzzsaw type of rip your asshole in half fuzz. My brother and i use to get the type of tones Wata gets when she rips all over "Pink".
Needless to say i love that pedal, and i have played his Frequency LSD & his Huge Box. They're both pretty radical pedals.
I'm really interested in his pedal called the Megalith. Used by both Al Cisernos of Om (and formerly Sleep) all over his new record "God Is Good" it sounds freakin' awesome. Not to mention Wino uses it all over the new Shrinebuilder album, which is simultaneously as incredible.
I want it.
Check his stuff out if you like. he's a philadelphia native.

havent tried any of his actual pedals, but i bought a modded boss pedal off him a year or two ago. he used to work at rustic music (13th and spruce?) dont think he works there anymore...that was back when his enclosures were those metal boxes u can buy at home depot for electrical shit...looks like he's upgraded since!

I'd love some more info on the LSD. Was close to buying one used but couldn't find any clips.

Bump and a sorta cross post from hcfx...I LOVE the sound of the megalith.

How much do they run? I saw something about $265 being subject to change
I hate myspace type websites as a store front for builders...it's confusing/unclear. I'll have to poke around for some more info when I'm not half asleep.

Had time to sleep on it...gas rising.
Any comparisons to the dam meathead? it seems sorta similar, but with more control and no wait.

Exploding head FX are built by James Plotkin. I'm going to pickup a Skumfuzz from him next month. My FrequencyLSD will be done mid to late January....stoked.

Just had a chance to play with a Behemoth Bass Preamp. Fucking kills, makes a bass sound massive! Did good on guitar too, ran it into a sunn beta lead with the gain cranked on both and almost burned down the house. Pure evil.

Re: Mountainking Electronics
So I wanted to bump this thread to see if any one else has obtained more mountainking pedals? The magnetar (bass fuzz) was supposed to come out around this time, and the behemoth 2 was already released. I'm prob gonna drop the ball on a megalith here soon, so hopefully the magnetar will be released by then so I don't get one and want the other...or get one then get both
