I'm thinking Mayhem - Ordo Ad Chao and Cryptopsy - None so vile to start my day off it just feels like that kind of day :wha?:   , all though that Kvelterak track a page back makes me think that will soak up my afternoon.

if I could find a trade for the big muff that was specifically for a rangemaster, I would but a las I can't seem to find one. The fix fuzz seems to speak to me as apparently it can be a slightly dirty boost.

also I really really want this odd beast http://www.ebay.com/itm/1978-Gibson-RD- ... 4ac1bef9e6

Those guitars are cool.

That Gibson RD is awesome...the first time i saw them was the Gouls from Ghost playing them...didn't even know what they were until i saw one on Gibson's website...but those old look a lot nicer than the newer re-issues they've done...especially the natural one you linked to

So I tried out a new setup on bass this weekend...

Image

Even thought he Naki is designed for guitar it works amazingly well on bass due to the super flexible EQ, and it def has more then enough low end. I probably won't tour with this setup but it will def get used for recording.

As John and Parker mentioned, the band had quite a good weekend. That Oly house party was totally crazy. I don't really have the words to convey all the weirdness. The dude who got me into making pedals lives two blocks away so we went over there after the set and his girlfriend got us hammered on fernet and other weird shit like all spice liqueur and soda and things I'd never contemplated. We came back and couldn't even get ion the door it was so fucking thronged with crazies.

Portland ruled, but differently. I got to hang with Parker which is killer and my oldest friend from way back before kindergarten was also in attendance. The sound I guess was good but the stage was small and cramped and I had a PA speaker about six inches forward and to the right of my ear. Everything sounded shitty phasey and out of tune from where I was so it was wicked frustrating. Everybody out front said it sounded good and my bandmates agreed so I guess I will have to defer. A couple of my favorite gals were down from Seattle so we kicked it in the van and smoked tough for a bit. Then it was tot city! Any bar with tater tots after 2am gets my seal of approval.

Now that we've played with Mos Generator a bunch I gotta say this one here is totally my jam
