Re: >>> Announcing the FuzzHugger Tremulust! <<< PICS on pg.
No one sucks at tremolo more than me.
Every time on the loud/on cycle of the tremolo, I used to have this violent urge to hit the strings again as if somehow I couldn't trust the trem to just turn the volume up on its own. Totally threw off my timing. After an embarrassing amount of practice, I stopped doing this. Then I thought I was fine. In fact, I took pride in my use of tremolo. I thought I used it with good taste and artistic creativity and was comfortable with everything from space-y trem, to subtle amp-like tremp, to super-choppy weird noise trem. It became one of my favorite effects. And I used to always badger my bandmates to play "How Soon is Now" in practice because that is one of my favorite riffs ever.
Then one day the drummer threw a fit and was like "We are not playing How Soon is Now until you stop doing that stupid thing with your mouth." "What are you talking about? What thing with my mouth?" But it was true. I was actually making like tiny Marr-like "WAH-ah-Wah-ah-Wah-ah-Wah-ah" noises when I played.
After that, I became very self-conscious about using trem and soon my beloved Tremulator disappeared off my board. I'd use a little trem on my amp on occasion and I still do volume swells or the "flick your pickup/kill switch up and down really fast" thing, but never a trem pedal.
Until now. Because now no one will be looking at me now while I make stupid faces. They'll all be too mesmerized by the awesomeness of my crazy tremtones and blinded by the beauty of my pedal.

I imagine this should be great for 'How soon is now' as the amp syncing of the original is done for you basically! But that is quite funny about making the movements with your mouth

Never could get that slide sound in the song quite how I wanted it though...
Listening to the demo it's a much more of an effecty trem than just volume modulation, can play along with it more.
Great work Tom!

Absolutely lovely graphics - as always.
AND it sounds pretty epic, too, much more than just a typical trem...

I've got a bit of a backlog, but right now, a Tremulust order will ship in about two weeks or less.
