Re: DIRGE ELECTRONICS: Progress/Protos/Puppies
I've been thinking about this rather hard for the past week or so, but I'm going to be halting taking on any further work at all in the next few weeks after I finish up the current projects I am working on.
As most of you know I'm getting married in April, and I would like to help my fiance with what she needs when she needs it for the next month and a half. We are DIY'ing our wedding about 90%- the only thing we aren't doing our selves is the Catering. But I am helping with all of the crafts involved, my amps will be used instead of a DJ, I designed and printed all of our invitations, etc etc.
I hope to finish Space6oy's pedal in the next two weeks, along with figuring out what I need to do to the_carl's Big Muff in terms of tone bypass/tone knobbing it, and gathering the parts for Holy Schnikes' Fuzz Face. Those will be my final projects for a bit.
I know a lot of us have spoken about upcoming projects and I've told each of you that I've archived our conversations. I just want to let all of you know, I have saved all of those messages for in the future and will be contacting you in the order of which they were and are received.
Please, if you have any questions, do not hesitate to PM me. But I would like a pretty clear slate for the next month and a half to focus on the wedding, to relax, and enjoy things. I hope all of you can understand, and I really am honestly flattered that so many of you enjoy my work enough that you approach me to build things for you.
I just wanted to be straight up honest with everyone who has been thinking of prospective builds for me to do as I've been just trying to figure out the words enough to say it.
Thank ALL of you, for everything. I will continue to update the_carl's Big Muff and Space6oy's Delay and Schnikes' FF.

Re: DIRGE ELECTRONICS: Progress/Protos/Puppies
Possible stupid question - does it HAVE to be a for-real wah pedal, or will any treadle work?
And I didn't know about your wedding until just now...'gratz on that!

I could put an expression jack for any of the parameters on the pedal to control with an external expression pedal of at least 50k for the pot value
And thanks duder!

Re: DIRGE ELECTRONICS: Progress/Protos/Puppies

So I spent a decent amount of time on Ben's pedal last night. Got the fuzz circuit built up and wired and planted all the wires on the tap tempo PCB. Just gotta wire up the Tap Tempo board and figure a few more things out for it.

Thanks guys!
I try to have fun with every build that sits on my bench. I LOVE new ideas and trying new things that I think would work with a pedal

When you decide to build pedals again, we've got some shit to work on.
