Honestly I'd rather get an expression pedal than use something like that. It seems like it would be pretty easy to slip/lose your balance, shift something on the pedalboard accidentally, or do both...

Pledge $50 or more
Everything mentioned above plus a Skype call with me - ask me anything. The duration of this call will depend on the conversational flow and my availability.

Limited (22 of 25 remaining)

I wouldn't be able to keep the conversational flow lasting more than 3 minutes, waste of money.

$4,999 for the "dude" twiiter acount though... now that is a bargain.

Kind of can't stand the guy from watching the video and the way he writes/what he says.

i dont see why it wouldnt hit 60k, why would i pay $190 for this http://bmusic.com.au/index.php?main_pag ... ts_id=4195

when i can get this in a smaller formfactor. btw rolling is way more efficient then stepping on a volume pedal as it provides more control

but rolling isn't as smooth if you are doing swells or anything
in my mind

I agree that it would be more difficult to make slight, or audibly smooth, adjustments, but that seems like the sacrifice one would have to make to have two expression pedals and a tap-tempo box in such a small footprint. I just hope the tap tempo box also has cv out for tempo as well.

Of all these, the expressionsator's really the most exciting to me. I could controll the pitch on my ring thing, the repeats on my deluxe memory man, and have synced repeats and choruses between my memory man and my cosmichorus (assuming tap tempo for cv-outs could be done), without making my board crazy huge with tap-tempo boxes and expression pedals.

What I would like to see is a power starve unit in this form. Go from full on fuzz to starved goodness with the roll of foot.

yeah the tap tempo/expression box is about the coolest of the bunch,

Obviously if the other effects don't sound good who cares how you control them

I still don't understand how 50 bucks only gets you a skype chat
doesn't seem like a good value when we get to talk to several amazing builders for free pretty much every day around here

I think if he just sold empty enclosures that would be best. You could fill them with whatever voltage starving expression controls or pedals you want!

I'm probably going to donate enough to get an empty enclosure. I'll get it etched by Danny and have autopilot put in the right combination of cv/expression controls :animal:

These don't look more useful than an expression pedal to me. They look good for making small adjustments on the fly but if you really need to make lots of frequent changes an expression pedal just seems more comfortable. Also his ramblings at the end seem bush league. All the small builders I'd actually buy from aren't making paeans to their good health and attorney on retainer. wtf.

Yeah, especially because the specific design maybe his, but the concept isn't.

Yeah it seems like he is trying to assure investors and scare off imitators in one swoop and instead he comes off as insecure and shifty.
