Re: expressionator and other options
I have the Source Audio dual Exp pedal, it's awesome and around $100. Super sturdy build, smooth treadle operation, and two outs that can be used simultaneously. One is fixed at 50k (pretty sure) and the other is adjustable from 50k on down to tailor it to specific pedals and their varied exp input needs.
The Mission (or Pigtronics by Mission) dual pedal is nice too but pricey.
The Expressionator is badass too, finally grabbed one of those cuz my dual pedal wasn't cutting it anymore with only the two outs. I'd prefer a deluxe expressionator with like five outs tho.....shit's getting crazy on my board.

If you have cv compatible stuff, the Koma Box is cool. Will make New Video soon.

Re: expressionator and other options
I'll check out the Koma Box. Is the Expressionator Deluxe out, yet?
I got the Second Voice Deluxe in and it fucking rocks. The controls over everything is pretty amazing. BUT FOUR FUCKING EXPRESSION OUTPUTS?!?!?! Balls. It's like I have to buy the dual expression AND an Expressionator just to utilize the awesomeness. And then I have to get a second Expressionator for my other stuff. The Dual Expressionator is what I need. Save me Jean. Or ME. Whoevs.

No Deluxe Expressionator release date mentioned as of yet.
Also, the Second Voice Deluxe is basically the reason I had to get an Expressionator in the first place. I'd been meaning to get one forever and it came to a point where I NEEDED one. Man was it worth it.
Like you said tho, now I need a "deluxe" version with more outs or another standard Expressionator at least. Fuck.

Re: expressionator and other options
Consider the Moog MP201 as well. I love mine. Yes it is pricey, but factor in the growth of your expression needs. Has 4 CV outs, pre-set/programmable waves, gates, ramp etc. Plus MIDI (w/ MIDI to CV converter). I'm not a MIDI guy yet. But just the CV side of it has exponentially expanded the utility of all my CV enabled gear

Re: expressionator and other options
i think the question might have come up
about the ability of the mp201
to work with other shit
at least in my head it did
and you just answered it
that would be perfect
im gonna go check price on that
and not report back
im enough of a boner killer as it is
and since im broke right this instance
i got time to wait for deluxe
you just use a reg exp pedal with that right?

Re: expressionator and other options
You can use pretty much any expression pedal with the Expressionator. One of the tapers even compensates for crappy ones.

If you like the feel of the Ernie Ball VPs, then the EX-ULT mod from Thru Tone would work. A little on the pricey side, but a nice set of options, and a well constructed pedal.

+1 for the Source Audio, it's also a Soundblox gateway pedal; makes you think about chaining up a bunch of them through the hothand jacks.
Also, this is right around the corner: http://www.tunnelvisionmusic.com/electr ... pedal.html
15% Coupon code: tvmrocks
What pedals do you need to control, btw? You may need a mono exp depending on which ones.
I hate the ernie ball because I broke the string, and it gets squeaky (needs some wd-40). I got the string replacement kit for $6 and fixed it because it's the only option for precise exp control of Eventide pedals, besides the giant behringer midi floorboard, which I am going to try eventually.
Also, like Source Audios, multiple Eventides can be midi-linked and controlled with one expression signal.
