also, the live action version of Blood The Last Gampire is.... it's pretty bad.

like a ScyFy movie. but with more blood. but it's all CG blood so.... that sucks butts.

annnnnnnd fuck FUCK. only BluRay version of the OG GitS is the 2.0 version.

where they went back and recolored it "to fit in with the aesthetic of GitS Innocence".

and replaced a bunch of the hand drawn stuff with CGI.

fuck. THAT. they on purpose meshed CG and hand drawn stuff and there were very purpose based decisions on what parts were what in the original.

fucking Lucas'ing up EVERYTHING DAMNIT.

I had no idea this was done and am retroactively butthurt.

... even though I actually liked Innocence quite a bit.

it more of.. they only messed with a few scenes and didn't really even bother to try to blend the "new" CG augmented scenes with the original... so it ended up like in starwars when they stuck jJaba in there.. Where Innocence was tons of digital but it was done very well and all matched..

That was just one big disappointfest... #1 they left all the yuri scenes out which were a big part of the manga for that story....
