IDK. I never much like Robert Plant. He's always been a little too histrionic for me.

Yeah I guess I shouldn't really say it's shot. I watched the "Celebration Day" DVD not too long ago and he actually wasn't too shabby.
Like you said, he just doesn't have the range he used to.

I like older Robert Plant, it's more mellowed out sounding. I got burnt out on 70s Plant in Middle School. And Morrissey is so love/hate for me. Sometimes I'm like, "Hell yeah!" Then other times Marr is playing a sweet riff and then Morrissey opens his mouth and I think "I never want to listen to the Smiths"

And then to contribute to the thread, so that I am not just shitting on what other people like, I loooove:
Marvin Gaye
Sam Cooke
Michael Jackson
James Carr
And I'm quite fond of Chloe Chaidez. She actually has a pretty decent singing voice that is pretty unique, but at other times her phrasing is like Robert Smith or something. It should be annoying, but I like it.

I'm usually not one to pick favorites, but I would let Casey Crescenzo's voice have it's way with me any day of the week.
