they're not cheap, but Cioks is so damn GOOD. i use a Pussy Power on my small board and a Ciokolate on my main board. both just workhorses with loads of powery options.

oh hellz yeah. they are EXPENSIVE. but.... it does power my entire huge board of weird requirements. soooooo.... WAY worth it to me.

They're worth it when you can't power your board with 1 proper power supply and need to add a second (which is looking like being the case for me).
