Shit sounds radio ready to me but I like the loud guitars, could be a nice direction for the band to explore. Either way, good to see Foals back in action, been awhile.
Note: Yannis is the def the master of ugly ass retro urban outfitters hoodies. Good lord.

They're good dude, check out there first couple albums. I'm a sucker for Antidotes but Total Life Forever is pretty great in it's own right.
Be warned tho, this song is a little on the "heavy" side for Foals which is really cool but they're generally rocking a more Minus The Bear + The Cure vibe with some pretty intricate guitar action going down. I love their drummer as well, talented chap.

Loved the shit out of Total Life Forever, not sure how I feel about the rest of their catalog. "Spanish Sahara" was the song that really made me take notice.
This song started a bit too "radio-friendly" (as you put it) to me, but the gazey guitars were great, and I totally didn't expect the RATM jams that dropped! This one will probably grow on me....

Been listening to them since I posted. I've loved pretty much everything I've heard so far. The quieter poppier songs might grow on me I suppose, but for the most part I'm loving the guitar parts and DAT BASS.

Yeah when the heavy part came in I was like hnnnnggggg...
awesome signature with witty quotes from all you fuckers
I saw them at Splendour in the Grass here a couple of years ago - just after they had released Total Life Forever. These guys are seriously good musicians, a great live act and really inventive too. I'm less into the Holy Fire stuff so far but still dig how clever they are on it.
On first couple of listens I don't like it as much as the first two albums, hope it grows on me but I find it a little less interesting than I thought I would. Love the first half, but I find that Milk & Black Spiders and Stepson kind of rip off Spanish Sahara too much.
