Deluxe.
Will try it again but pulled it yesterday literally After 10 Minutes Off the Board. Very disapointing.

Only 10 minutes? That can't be good considering your constant love affair with Kenfanem. Curious if you like it any better the second time around, but this does make me happier I didn't go with the pre-order.

Re: INFANEM, Second Voice [NEWS]
I most certainly doodoo.
I realized the other day after putting a les lius after the second voice that I should put the second voice in front of some tonal shaping thing to offer some different textures. The Les Lius is in the midrange jangle area so it made the SV sound so different and less scooped. Man I wanna try that new standard!

Funny I've had both the original second voice and now a deluxe and I prefer the deluxe, I could never get over the phasey whistling sound the original one made when you weren't playing, and the new one has so many more options, sounds good to me but I haven't heard them side by side.

I Need 90% of the time the suboctave Setting. The New one is a different, simpler circuit for the suboctave - at least Ken mentioned that. So it is no surprise, that they sound different. The New one is lacking power, tightness, fuzz. And i compared Both direct to each other. So the Pedal i useless to me.

Re: INFANEM, Second Voice [NEWS]
Why do so many people complain about noise on the 2nd voice? I've had the first version (without the exp. jack) and now a v2 with the exp. jack, and neither of them were noisy in any way. The only "bad" thing about the v1 was the volume pot.. because 90% of the volume sweep happened in the first 30% of the potentiometer range. That is also fixed in the v2 I have now. I have tried both versions on isolated outputs and on daisy chains and there was no noise, even when a high gain distortion/fuzz was engaged after it or the amp was cranked.
Good Deals with: All these fine people!

We must be lying then…
In one of my demos you can hear it at some points. I'm not sure what its related to but it never effects playing. How you've not experienced it is beyond me. It's a cool noisy.
What's this about a different octave? The dedicated suboctave or the interval?

I was complaining about the dedicated suboctave on the Deluxe.

Re: INFANEM, Second Voice [NEWS]
My Second Voice Deluxe gets here, tomorrow.
But yeah, the V2 was the noisiest pedal I've ever owned. Even when you would mute the bass, it would sound like an airplane was taking off. Such a cool pedal but just too noisy, the fuzz was too harsh with no versatility (so it was either what you needed or not even close), and pretty much everything I used it for could be done with more versatility from another fuzz plus a Faye Sing. The description on this guy sounds like it fixed all of my issues with the old one.
