I just got a PH-3 and I have to say, I kind of love it. It replaced my old PH-2, but it has so many more uses. I love the 10 stage, which gets close enough to my old Phase 100 for government work. The Step mode is so crazy go nuts that I think I may have to write a song just to have a reason to use it. Haven't gotten the hang of using my expression pedal with it yet, though.

I like me some Boss pedals. Especially blue ones. I just need to get the PS-5 to complete the family of pitch shifters and harmonizers. Not that I need it, but not having the complete set just doesn't seem right. Of course there is a PS-2 AND a PS-3 on the local CL. Not that I need those either, but how often does that happen?

You know, if I could tame some of the harshness in the high mid/treble areas I'd actually really like the DS-1.

For some reason, a stock DS-1 will completely floor me on bass every once in a while. They're fickle beasts.

GASing for a FZ-2 so hard

So the ME-25 had a Freeze long before EHX made the Freeze. And you control its volume on the expression pedal. Kinda sick, if you ask me.

It's even called Freeze!

Around the 2 minute mark.

Also, has anyone ever broke a Boss pedal? Did you contact their support? I'm curious to know how that goes about happening.

Well, EHX first had the freeze on the HOG, which debuted in 2008, I think(?), which I'm pretty sure predates the ME-25. I could be wrong, though.

+1

though what's up with the prices and availability? a few years ago they were everywhere, and now I've been on the hunt for about six months and finding only some "MEGA RARE" 200EUR BS on ebay. it's annoying to check out the 'merican ebay to find them for like $80.

Pretty sure the Boss DF-2 is the granddaddy of them all...
