there's a locally made Theremin for around a hundo, it only has one antenna and volume and sensitivity controls. It's pretty rad tho
but there's no tone control or anything AND you obviously need a delay to go with it

anyway... we play kind of progressive rock with funky and jazzy influences, sometimes there's a bit of noise, sometimes there's a bit of psychedelic soundscapes to go under everything... so i was thinking "let's use a Theremin"
so how about a small synthy rig... the audio out would go from the Theremin to Korg Monotron Delay. This way, i'd have a delay AND an analog filter after the theremin, the delay can oscillate and also can work as a standalone mini-synth
it has audio in and line out, se we'd lead a cable right to the mixing console and hear it through monitors
gradually, we could ad some more stuff, obviously... but so far, that could work well, right?
any experience with using the Monotrons as filters?
would that be rad as hell?
and another question - could we use the line out to go to a volume pedal after the Monotron so we can control the volume of the rig?
(this rig will not happen right now, but this year, it shall eventually happen
)
