Downloading now, but my first feedback is that Dangerous Ponies is a great name!

sick dude! i really like this. pop is great :thumb: what are you playing on this? the mixing is great, though its overall quieter than most music i have. other than a tiny mastering quible like that though, this is great. tour up to alaska soon! DO IT! i'll get you shows and get you PAID. really nice.

EDIT: do you have a physical release of this? I'll trade you some CDs of stuff I've done for a physical copy!

Thanks for the good words!

Yeah,

we just played our release show on friday! so i can grab you a copy when i'm back home and mail it for a trade of your jams. :)

and fuck yes i wanna play in alaska.. that won't be for a while down the road.

I play guitar, i do all the fuzzy shit and effected out stuff.

Mostly Boss Fuzz (awesome pedal), Burford Electronics Britt Face, Big Muff and the FX Doctor 8-Bit Fuzz, which i have since replaced with devi's bit.

The bit is way superior.

OH PS. if anyone wants to buy it: www.punkrockpayroll.com :thumb:

Thanks so much you guys! :)

Dig and dug.

Everything has this tape-sounding vibe all over it. You do that on purpose, or did you use a lot of dynamic mics? Also, whoever did the mixing of the instruments did a really great job, especially since there can be 100 things going on at once but you can pinpoint each instrument/voice. One thing I wasn't impressed with was the sound of the snare and the overall muddiness on some of the songs. But that's all from a recording standpoint, from a listening soundpoint the songs are really great! :thumb:
Do you like listening to homemade music? Me too. Why don't you try one of mine?

Current ILF Love: OHNOHO CHK CHK BOOM, Mellowtone Melx Fuzz 2, EQD Dream Crusher, Devi Ever ID, Dr. Scientist Proto-Miniberator - new vids eventually

I'm glad you dug it. We tried to do it very 60's making the drums extra dead (snare included, and yeah we werent SUPER happy with the snare.) but yeah we recorded to tape, incidentally the same 8-track Dr. Dog recorded Easy Beat on. Which is rad. We dig them, if anyones ever heard them. you'll know. Tons of dynamic mics. Our guitarist Kyle recorded and mixed it. i helped out a bit. But yeah, we tried to emulate the sounds of the 60's.

i'm glad you dug!! :)

Wizard! I LOVE THE EP! It sounds really vintage and gooey. I especially like the songs "That" and "Honey Trap". They are the jams.

Go Dangerous Ponies! Have fun on your tour!!
