and i hate white shoes
i have a pair of keen boots for winter work
which i wear till it gets too hot
theyre so freakin comfy
i got flippers for feet
so adidas and pumas were not an option

I had them too! but one blue and one yellow. That was the initial concept I guess (NTS)
been skateboarding over 12 years really super seriously (every night, every WE...) but kinda stopped when I started working. Not really compatible. And now with wife and kids, time is limited... Anyway, my fav shoes ever were the Es Koston 1:


I loved them so much I bought 6 pairs in total. i even had a pair I would not ride with, to preserve them and look decent (no shoe goo,destroyed laces, blood stains and what not)

It can help you figuring some things out and getting maybe more consistent with some tricks but there are plenty of tricks you cannot realy attempt if you are not in motion.
It's more about the fun really and it's quite addictive; once you have started you really want to land the tricks right so you keep on trying again and again.
Additionally, peepz love to see daft stuff in the office. I'm pretty good at daft shit (ain't we all?!), shame I manage the fucking place, I would do a lot more daft shit otherwise.

Apparently there are some kind of carpet skates that exist. I need to get myself a pair.
Skating all the way to a meeting room in your best suit and jumping over a set of stairs...That would be rad!
