Boss RV-5 LED always on?
a buddy of mine wants me to take a look at his reverb pedal for him to see if i can figure out why the LED stays on all the time. have any of you had this issue before?

It's probably to stop the choke from vibrating and becoming microphonic.
I'm not sure how the bypass works on the rv-5 it's probably fets?? controlled by the dsp but i'm just stabbing in the dark without a schematic. Follow the traces from the led one will go to either +V OR GND (or a resistor to either of those.) While the other trace will go to the dsp or a fet or something... but if it's the dsp you're basically screwed.
