Tried this last night and it was horrifyingly painful:

bridge pickup>wolf computer set super trebly>mxr bass octave>ring thing set to two octaves up with modulation approaching audible frequencies>kill kill filter (filter maxed gain halfway)

This was the most sonically assaulting thing I've ever experienced.

i once praised the construction of the TC Flashback by saying that i could throw it at squirrels out in the yard without having to worry about anything but damaging the paint. however, for sheer durability, i'm going with my late 70s/early 80s Distortion+...not only has it survived with me for thirty years now, but it's just the right size and weight to throw at someone's head.

Yea, the old MXRs are probably the single best 'throw through a window' pedal ever designed!

I throw like a girl too.

Which is why I believe in the power of chemically-propelled lead.

Sadly though that will never be as cool as a trebuchet.

Baby's favorite MP5K-PDW is pretty close, and well, it fits in my wheelchair.

Trebuchet doesn't!

My recipe for an ear-raping rig would be

MIC Epiphone Casino on bridge pickup, tone & volume on 10
Hotcake into Aquapuss into MT-2 into into PS-3
MIC AC30 Top Boost ch, tubed with JJ EL84, Siemens e83cc and/or Mazda silver plate ecc83
2x12 MIC Blues

Boost the the oscillating delay on a low time setting and shift it up 2 octaves into the dimed amp via expression pedal

Better have insurance....

i'd say an old chrome box Morley wah would be better, heavy duty power cable hard wired to it, could get a good swing on.... :thumb:

Dime the amp's treble, switch to bridge pickup and blast uber-dissonant chords filtering through a Harmonic Percolator, in to a SuperBolt (crazy-loud/bright), goosed by a Rangemaster.

TAKE. THAT.
