From what I remember... fuzzface.

I would totally sport something that size. It doesn't sound very gainy/fuzzy in the video. I'd like to hear how it sounds in front of an overdriven amp/pedal. I mostly use amp gain or an OCD or SHO when amp OD is not available.

Anyone else got any input on this?

It's a octavia based fuzz... that is what they sound like.

They make more pedals though..

Thanks for the mention, guys!

The Purple Octopus is designed to be an Octavia-style octave up without the inclusion of a fuzz circuit, so it sounds like the Octavia does when you use a tame setting or roll your guitar volume back for a "cleaner" octave up like the famous solo from Purple Haze. It sounds awesome in front of fuzz and distortion, and I do have a clip of it in front of my Bluebird fuzz on my website, www.henrettaengineering.com.

The Bluebird may be exactly what I'm looking for. I love both videos I've seen.
