Bridge, Neck, CT Bridge, CT Neck, Series the CT Bridge and Neck In Phase, Mega Bucker, and....

have not figured out last position

how i am going to wire it is a bit tricky. In the modes where there only needs to be 1 volume and tone control I have to do some thinking

Last position? :idk: You got 6 listed there.

You should just do a master Vol + Tone for the whole thing, or maybe a 3 way toggle and 3 knobs -> 1> Master vol 500k + tone 500k (for stock style tones) 2>separate master volume only 1meg (for brighter more cutting tones) 3> straight to the output jack (can't get more metal than this!!!)

Well I have an LP, Dont wanna make the controls useless and or remove them for aesthetic reasons.

my main amp is a Laney VC30 2x12. it kills...i've played at get-togethers where people were paying through $2500 boutique amps and my girl sounded better than them all. except maybe for the guy who used a blackface Bassman head into a Voice of the Theatre PA cab.

There would be no open holes, you have 4 control pots now, if you wire it like I said you can fill them with a 3way toggle and 3 control pots so the only aesthetic change would be a toggle instead of one of the control pots.

oh I forgot to mention that I will replace the usual toggle with the rotary.

I figured as such! It's gonna be a tight fit though those cavities are not very large.

yea something I have to actually explore. Need to do a written scheme to see what is possible and what it not possible.

looks like its no problem to do 4 positions for Bridge, Neck, CT Bridge, CT Neck but no easy way to do series the coil taps or megabucker. I really do not want to use alpha push pull pots so I will avoid them and lose options if I need 2

There's no way to do neck + bridge together? You can't parallel off the leads where they connect to the rotary switch?

There are only 4 pos 3 pole and 6 pos 2 pole switches that can easily be bought so with just 2 poles there is not way to do it.

Well that sucks, I was thinkig if you took jumpers off the + where the pickups wire up and soldered both to the + of the 5th position you'd get a parallel megabucker.

Id prefer to do series the 2 coil taps. That would be akin to series 2 SC pups on a Tele which has a really nice clean sound.

it would be a lot easier if I only had 1 vol and 1 tone.
