Just checked out a few toneprints for the hall of fame with my phone app for the first time. Firstly, holyshitthisappisawesome! Works perfectly, so quick to get a new toneprint and there are so many. Really hope you'll be able to include your own toneprints on that because it'd be so simple. Secondly, I am so psyched to be able to edit my own! Like currently I have the Troy Van Leeuwen spring vibrato verb, and it's really nice but I think I'd love it if I could slow the modulation down just a bit, maybe make it a little wetter and more intense. Being able to make your own sounds is going to be really fun!

I was one of those people that wanted them to release this software right away, citing that if Line 6 can do it off the bat, surely they can as well. Now that it's out, I'm just happy that it is. Will probably buy a Corona and Vortex and start playing around with the whole thing.

monkeydancer wrote:Yeah. It would be cooler if any of the presets could be changed to new toneprints, but unfortunately you can't do that. Now this software is out, I would think a logical next step could be making a pedal that's ALL toneprints, from any of the series. That would super cool.

Given that the BG250 combo has the ability to upload any TonePrint you want on it, I think you're right. I'm waiting for the TC Electronics multi effect board where you upload 3-4 different TonePrints and you're done.

I chose a Memory Toy over a Flashback, maybe I went the wrong way...

Really wondering if this would let me get away with a flashback x 4 rather than a TimeLine...

I'm fairly sure that the software still won't let you do that. I don't see why not though; the pedals are digital and for the most part, are exactly the same in terms of layout.

That would most certainly defeat profitability. People would only buy one pedal. The way that they've done it insures that there's the potential for multiple sales.

Prediction: Gen 2 or the "unlocked" Toneprint pedals in the near future to compete with the iStomp

My pedalboard costs approximately 191 Metal Zones.

Yep. Signed up for the prerelease thingy. Anyone else notice the TZF option for modulation on that Flashback screen? TZF delays?!?!? HELL YES!

To a point. There would still be those guys that buy 2-3 so they can have the effects they want on their board without having to switch them between every song.

Got a Trinity (PGS HOF) coming in the mail tomorrow. This is awesome news. Messed around with the Android app a bit last night. Hope the wi-fi works in the rehearsal space...
