Not trying to be a dick, but DE any good for bass?
Are any of the pedals in the Devi Ever line up any good for bass? Most of the reviews I've found are on Talkbass, and I read that the low end gets cut when engaging such fuzz boxes. What say you, ILF? Seems like the Soda Meiser would be pretty good, but what do I know? I'm just some snot-nosed kid.

Soda Meiser ain't bad. The warhorse would probably be cool too since it's got a tone control and footswitchable chaos.
I had a Bit that wrecked on bass, but other demos I've heard haven't sounded nearly as good as the one I had
& the Aenima sounds so sweet on bass, but yeah not crazy on the low end.

Re: Not trying to be a dick, but DE any good for bass?
I loved the Vintage Fuzz Master (or whatever it's called) on bass - beastly, scrambly goodness. Not unlike a Brassmaster on certain settings, but without the clean blend & other extras. Also dug the Cherry Pop, which was some SM+DB permutation with a crazy deep tone stack, but it tended to get super-scooped, and would often wash out in full band settings (which is too bad, because the fuzz itself was pretty damned fantastic). The Ruiner (DB+DB) is awesome for synth-bass toanz. I dug the Hyperion, but I don't know if I ever tried it in a full band setting.
I'm more like a mids-ist than a bassist.

Yeah, I'm kinda interested in the Aenima now 'cause of kbi, but out of the SM/VFM/TP/SM/DB/Ruiner....none of them stuck.
I like how wild her fuzzes are, but they don't seem to, or didn't seem to fit my style at the time. Maybe the Aenima will change things, I dunno.
Dark Boost was the most bass-friendly one I had, but it always seemed to kill any highs and articulation in my signal, and I think I already run my jank a bit muddier than usual...it was just too much. It didn't feel like a bass boost so much as a "the only knob turned up is the bass one".

Super Massive Black Hole/Bass Fuzz. discontinued, would probably need to start a WTB thread.
Soda Meiser is good with the texture rolled back. the new Sozo Meiser will have more low end available. Cherry Pop is a discontinued pedal that was the Soda Meiser with a Tone control. Lots of peeps loved that one.
Ruiner, possibly Dark Boost for more of an overdrive.
The Stone should be pretty good for bass.
EDIT: Oh yeah, the Wolf is her current pedal that is specifically designed for Bass.

Soda Meiser and VFM are my favorite fuzz and bass fuzz pedals ever.

The 33/Silver Crank/Soda Might sounds really good on bass. The Heroin Lifestyle would probably be even better.

Yes, Delaware is fine for bass. Just as good as any other state, maybe even a little bit better?

Re: Not trying to be a dick, but DE any good for bass?
I had good results with the Hype, the Bass Fuzz/SMBH, Bit, Aenima and VFM. But then again, I never minded if a pedal cut a little bit of the low-end rumblies, because that's not the bass tone I generally go for anyways.

I rock in drop C and I use SPAE, TBD and Bit Mangler all the time. NOBODY has complained about not enough low end.
Not that I much made use of clean signal to compare any way.
Fuck that shit it's already one full octave lower the guitar register.

Disaster Fuzz completely cuts low end.
