He had a miniature 12" plate unit that he made using 2 contact mics on a sheet of aluminum that was suspended by chains to a wooden chasis, and then had two toothbrush motors that were controlled wirelessly through his iPad to control the velocity of the spinning of the motors which created this awesome really ambient droning thunder in a deep deep cave. His other unit was about 6 feet tall and used the same technology. It was AWESOME.

THIS sounds fucking AMAZING.
I'm a bit late to the reverb pedal game, having used the onboard in my ampeg V2 forever (someone said earlier just get a V4, which is brilliant advice) but I recently jumped on my 2nd ghost echo and a tech21 boost rvb. I really dig the ge for the subtle spooky cave stuff, and it does get along famously with dirt. For clean tones I get a weird almost slapback sounding effect at some settings...anyone else hear this? The tech21 was incredibly DIRT cheep and has impressed me quite a bit although I've only had it a week or so. Can be very natural sounding and pretty versatile, not as sexy as some of our other faves but worth considering for the budget minded...
Special low-frequency version.

It was killer! I think he was some sort of engineer or something. He was an older dude, in his 50's it looked like.

I FOUND THE VIDEO OF IT!!!!

It is a bit strange to see him controlling the toothbrushes by an iPad but still the sounds that result are diabolical.
