it would have to be a huge enclosure unless you got a miniature one..

I was reading up on this about 6 months ago. I assembled many of the parts, but never finished it. basically you need to build a small amp to drive a speaker that is affixed to one end of the spring. then you use another speaker as a pickup at the lowest dip in the spring. you'l need to boost that signal. I figured a blend knob then would be most useful. I'll try to dig up some links
