Re: The Doom Room: ILF Edition
Possibly a stupid question, but I'm having a thought; 120 watt amp pushing 300 watts of speakers in a 4x12 is fine, but is it going to be enough power divided between 300 watts in a 4x12 and a 450 watts in a 2x15?

Re: The Doom Room: ILF Edition
the power rating is not the required power to drive, more like the power limit. Spreading the power around is just fine.

I ask mostly because I know there are loads of people saying different things on forums ALL THE TIME. Always better to ask and feel a bit silly than do something stupid or irreversible in my book.
Cheers gents

Re: The Doom Room: ILF Edition
the biggest difference is that each speaker will now get less power so if u liked running them hard and getting some speaker distortion it will not be as prevalent.
