Nice. HiLo'Trons are great sounding pickups.

Yeah, thanks for clarifing that. These are somehow cheap copies of the Gretsch ones.

Thanks! My ex bassist build that guitar out of parts that were laying around in his workshop and had no future use.

Nice man! And yeah, are they pretty close to HiLoTron specs? I was just playing my Corvette the other day and LOVING the HLT bridge pickup tones coming out of that thing.

Thanks dude! Honestly, no idea. I was just searching for pickups with the TV Jones form factor, cheap and single coil. So i found these

Bridge sounds ok. I have to put more underneath the PU to raise it. Is a bit too low right now. Neck is so good though :yay:

YEEEHARRRR!

Can you photoshop that thing into the pic of me rocking out in the car ward in Amsterdam? I'd like to know how well she'd suit me.

Proper, Chankgeez! Hadn't heard Nighthawk before. Sounds great.

 Mick. To me, the feel is kinda like an SG with a wider fingerboard, beefier neck and single coils. There's some magic in the bridge pickup in this one. Pretty low output, but it has a very pleasant and interesting thin-ness - like an old AM radio or something.

Nighthawk's my favorite slider (at least when we're stickin' to the blues).

Foxy. How are Hagstroms? I've never played one, but love twists on the Gibson family of instruments.

I've only had it for a couple of weeks but I'm really digging it. Neck is a just a hair thinner than my LP and I'm still getting used to the longer scale. Not crazy about the stock pickups so I'm going to throw some Dimarzios in it tonight.

Overall great value compared to the Gibsons in the same price range IMO.
