Eventide Pitchfactor

Post by ChetMagongalo »

What do you dudes think about this pedal? I was thinking about selling my POG2 and Whammy for it (also, why are they all red?). I'd like to have the function of both in one pedal. On top of that the PF can do some bitchin shiftin that kind of reminds me of a Rainbow Machine and the Particle. The only thing i'm concerned about is how well it will track with bass and chords.
Any input would be appreciated! I know a couple of you guys have one

I don't really dig the straight octave on it. It's monophonic, and I like the POG2 much better. However, I use the Diatonic, Quadravox, Harmodulator, and Harpeggiator - so I kind of think of it more of a harmonizer and sequencer pedal, then using it for octaves. I guess I should try to explore that aspect of it more. Before I got it, I read how people really loved the "Crystals" setting and I don't like that either so maybe I'm just weird.

Yeah I've been looking at some videos and it seems to nail all the advanced and weirder stuff but not do the octave so well :p
That's okay though because I think I will really love the non octave settings

If I had one, I'd play with it every day.

I'd have it if I could afford it.
Which if I made a conscious effort to save up I could easily do.
But I'm careless and impulsive

I use and love it on bass. There is one setting that sounds close to the OC2 but I definitely dig Crystals AND use it as a harmonizer/sequencer the most.
