Framus Strato Deluxe

Post by dorfmeister »

I like the looks of this.

Appears to be manufactured in China. Don't know how much they cost.

Kind of an interesting Strat meets Jazzmaster meets 60s offbeat guitar vibe.

Without clicking the link I am guessing that weird nozzle-looking thing past the knobs is for

a. spraying seltzer into the crowd
b. dispensing hand sanitizer for the germ-conscious player
Good deals on ILF: too many to list, just ask!

if it's anything like the original Framus, that nozzle looking thing is a spring loaded switch that turns on a rotary effect.
The bass/keys player in my band owns one.

I think this is the original 60s model Framus these things are based on. Looks l like they thought people would be put off by the paddle style headstock and swapped in one that is closer to the Fender shape....notice also that this has two pickups rather than the three on the new version.

that would pretty much eliminate any need i have for a Fender guitar that isn't a Strat.

Like the 60's "futuristic" vibe of this one. The Korean-made Framus Hollywood series streets for around $799, so I would have to think a Chinese model wouldn't run more than that.
