I always thought this guy looked really cool. Never had a synthy pedal though (other than some synthy fuzzies)

i'm more into the synthy end of guitar lately...i'd lean towards Moog gear excepting that i'm in love with the Fairfield ring moduator. the Hog2 may be promising, too. i need to know more about it before offering an opinion, though.

If you want just one pedal that can do instant synth sounds, i would suggestthe eqd bit commander has octave down, up and all blendable. You can do nice synthy bass lines and lead stuff. I like that box.
I think, that i use a lot of "synthy" sounds with my guitar, but they get for me already synthy when i use a fuzz (MKI or a bit gated nasty sputtery one) into delay. If i add a filter after the fuzz, it is hard to still recognize, that it is a guitar that is played.
And if you don't mind the money, get that moog stuff. There is a new universe of sounds in there.

I SUCK at guitar (too many strings and they are too close together) but I recorded this Guitar into behringer BSY600 into M13 for delay and verb into DS-1. tracking isnt so good and I got some big volume spikes but I went through the settings to give you an Idea of what it can do.

Yea the digitech bass synth wah is similar but way cooler than the guitar version.
