Yep. Couldn't live without that stupid program. I'd tried messing around with saving beats to an RC-2 and using that to play, but meh. I dunno. I think I'll probably end up with an RC-2 again, but for now I'm not a fan.

I've been trying a similar route, but it's the dm1 on my iPhone into a DRUM EFFECTS PEDAL BOARD into my mixer into the prototype of the Echidna amp.

The behringer reverb I'm using doesn't really sound good as a drum reverb though. I may go back and set up the laptop to use Garageband and get sweet long hall reverb on my kick drum.

In that track, honestly just Garageband presets. I spent a few hours tweaking each of the presets to get it to sound exactly like my pedalboard if you can believe it or not

Been enjoying Darvulia's "Belladone" EP, which I got during RTB's closing down sale (on cassette, of course). Not the usual uber-kvlt stuff I'm really into (the production is actually quite clear!), but enjoyable nonetheless. Quite French. Gotta track down the full-length albums I guess.
Jerk Kerouac (harsh noise)
Kalimantan (improv not-jazz shambles)
ZDICM (space-drone-synth-thing)

So. Sortilegia is amazing. As is Sylvus. Both bands share the same guitarist, but she fronts Sortilegia (which happens to be a two piece). The former is very atmospheric and and brooding, while the latter has more of a Viking feel.

Some death in there with the black, but pretty good so I figured I'd share anyway.

Check this shit out. A bit on the raw/lo fi side, but its got this great, almost dream pop element to it.

I'm right there beside ya'. Can I have title of Masterette? This girl was having a hard time finding torrents and albums on Soulseek (I KNOW, RITE?). I was trying to convince her blogs are THE best way to download albums. She wouldn't believe me.
