Yeah, sorry if I offended...I just get a little irritated when the pitchforks come out regarding DAM stuff when folks are just sharing cool shit for the rest of us to enjoy. But no big here....first world problems for sure. Hugs to all that I may have offended.

And The op edited The First post BTW, explained some stuff about the demo and now we all Love each other again.
I'm actually surprised that you're the only one that has reacted.
You still don't get it. I was talking about the reactions to the original op post, the four you quoted. That was no surprise to me. That people freak out about the new TC electronics looper (and its advertisment) on ilf is beyond me...

I look forward to engaging in more productive discussion as well, but the fact that I have pretty much only DAM pedals on my pedalboard I'll have to tread carefully obviously...![]()
Maybe there is a better forum for you

I can see how it was taken as the initial post was to "promote" this pedal...
but hopefully it's clear that it was more to promote his upcoming blog post and demo, yes it's of a one-off pedal (that the OP himself does not own either), but, in my opinion, it's cool that he took the time to put it together for other people to enjoy.
in the end, who really gives a shit either way?
it's just the internet, and it's just a guitar pedal.

Tastes run slightly differently between ILF and D*A*M. Nothing wrong with that.
Yeah, there's some crossover. Let's not get all bent out of shape over some perceived differences.
I can't afford any of the highly coveted pedals on either forum. I'm content to window shop and I endorse any effort made in the appreciation of fuzz.

I find it strange that people would rather not ever have any access - even if it is only a quality demo - to a unique pedal.

Also, while I can't speak to whether it matches up to the Buzzotron, I have a Buzzaround clone built by an ILF builder, supposedly with input from D*A*M dudes. It's not like we're warring countries that don't collaborate.
IT'S ALL FOR THE LOVE OF FUZZ, PEOPLE!
EDIT: I totally stole leastwise's avatar, but it seemed appropriate:
