Sometimes that's all you need, my board is really just dirt > delay > verb. All though my dirt section is OD > Dist > Clean boost... so its a lil more complex.

Yeah dude. I've found that when it comes down to me writing stuff, I NEVER use any sort of modulation, just dirt delay and some verb either before the dirt or after it. That and a looper. As much as I LOVED having the Whetstone...
