Gassed for one for a bit, the quality on those is really good. But I'm kind'a in my will not buy another Chinese guitar phase right now.

That's what I'm afraid of... Played a Les Paul Traditional over Christmas that I really liked, so I get the benefit of HEAVY. And I love the late 70's MIJ quality and vibe. Plus, them horns.

Re: Hagstrom Baritone
Yeah, I hear that. There's an older 1500 on ebay and a slightly newer 1000 on the local Craigs right now for comparable prices. Leaning towards the 1500 for the brass sustain block (and I like the color a little better too... Black on the 1500 vs. burst on the 1000. No maple cap on the 1500's either I don't think which might make it mellower tone-wise which I like.)
So yeah, how about them Hagstrom baritones!

~9.6 lbs... About the same a Peavey T-60. Hefty for sure. And I think Les Paul Traditionals are around 8.6-9 lbs.

That isn't all that bad really a lot of basses are about that, my BC rich acrylic is a bit more. Those Hagstroms on the other hand are really light, lighter then either of my hollow bodies.
