I'll use an xlr to 1/4" converter and a small female to male 1/4" cable to the pedal. It's also gonna have to be able to take a battery I guess. Oh well

The smallest delay pedal I know of is the Lovepedal Echo Baby, which is in a 1590A enclosure (malekko omicron size). But it doesn't take a battery, nor does any other 1590A sized pedal I think. The Guyatone MD3 is probably the smallest that can fit a battery.

Why not just buy the MD3, tape the cables to the sides, have it dangle?

These are $50 at Prymaxe:

For a battery, you just need a 9V battery snap => Boss-style barrel plug cable. I'm sure they're out there.

Or if money is no object, put a mini kaosspad2 on there. Those things are sweet!

What about one of those red witch seven sister. Do they have a delay in that line? Pretty sure they do and they run off of a chargeable internal battery.
