Wouldn't it be more like:

The Edge walks Edge walks into walks into into a into a bar to a bar a bar bar

;)

And I love the Edge, btw. Yes, I actually admit that in public.

The Edge is one of my favorite MUSICIANS of all time, let alone guitarists. He's made such an individual statement. Nobody sounds like him. There are only people who sound like they're trying to sound like him.

I especially dig the first five U2 records (ending with Joshua Tree).

Not really a fan myself.
But he must have had cool parents to name him The Edge, mine weren’t very cool so I got stuck with Metal as a first name, but Mariachi is pretty good for a last name.

The Edge walks into a bar... no one buys him or Bono (still wearing his sunglasses in doors) a drink seems like a far more likely statement well, other than what roseweave stated.

Thank you, I was worried I was the only one here. I always dug his style, and the awesome grooves he gets into with his delay units. Everything up through Achtung Baby was :thumb:

Everything after is :picard:

Woah. I had no idea I would ever feel so secure in saying I love what the Edge did as a guitarist, especially in those early records. Also, I know a lot of people think Bono is the biggest douches in the world, but I read this interview Chuck Klosterman did with him in Chuck Klosterman IV and Bono seemed like such a cool guy. He was just driving around in his truck and saw these kids that needed and ride and he just let them get in and played them the new U2 record and bought them dinner. hahhaa The actual way it went down though was so bizarre, but cool.

Loev u2. Except How to dismantle... and the one before that was kind of weak too. this new one has like 5 great songs on it, and then some stinkers.

BUt The Joshua Tree is one of the greatest albums of our time. Thats not opinion, that's fact.
