EQD Tusk Fuzz
Hi dudes, anyone experience with the tusk fuzz?
there is one for sale nearby and I am interested!! But I wonna know how the tusk fuzz is compared to the dream crusher, I already have the dream crusher but for my use it sometimes is a little too bright...
So my question is:
Is the tusk fuzz some some darker sounding than the dream crusher??
thanks a lot!!

Never had a Dream Crusher, sadly...and weirdly, one of the only EQD fuzz I don't own.
...but Tusk is pretty bright. In an articulate, present, well-rounded eq kinda way, but it's bright.

Thanks, so I guess it will be more or less the same as with the dream crusher, I like it very much, but with my strat it is a little too bright for heavy stoner riffing...

My guess is not a great match for a strat (I'm assuming 3 single coils..?) What kind of amp are you using?
I like the Tusk in front of something dark and fuzzy to add some bite and crunch, heavy stoner riffing is not going to be the Tusk's strong suit.

I play on a laney klipp!
At this moment I am enjoying the qualities of the t-rex mudhoney... I just bought the dream crusher because I was curious, I like the pedal! but just not the best fuzz for playing with my band/setup...

It gets darker, thicker as you turn the fuzz control up. Below 1 or 2 o'clock, it cuts pretty hard.
Your days of plenty are numbered.

I tried a friend's Tusk awhile back, just a little too bright for me. It was right on the edge though.
