I used a fuck and rat variant as my main dirt for a while but lately I have just been using a clone of the original Marshall Guv'nor which is pretty amazing. Might through the fuck back in the mix though. A civil war muff usually fulfills all my fuzz needs.

My last post was pretty simple (Algal Bloom), now it's Mini for overdrive, Twosome FF for splatty vintagey things, Twosome musket for teh heavies, and Algal Bloom for fucked up reverb -> fuzz.

Really loving the fuck as a dirty boost on bass. And running it at max gain on guitar for the heavies is pretty awesome. You get a Marshall like roar out of it if you tweak it right.

Mini (soon to be Fuck) into TAFM. The Fuck is pretty much my base tone, set kinda like Mascis, gritty and jangly, then I hit the TAFM when I want fuzzy rhythm. Plenty of clarity so I can leave a few open strings droning but still plenty dirty. I also have an AB-Synth at the front for leads and general destruction/fucked up noises. I was pretty satisfied with my dirt until I today when I watched some Hawk demos. I gotta stop browsing the ss/bs youtube channel or Brian's gonna own my dirt section. Not that that's a bad thing.

I'm currently rocking a Fuzz Factory and a Tym Ram's Head Big Mudd. They get equal use at the moment...just sound sooo good with an AC30!
