Comic book stores, maybe? There's one here in town that sells used/vintage/whatever items like that on consignment.

Yeah, I was thinking about that too. I am going to see if UF will cut me a break on a booth, if not, I will try the comic book stores.
I do know if the Gainesville Sci-Fi booths are $125 then ones in Tampa or Jacksonville will be really expensive.

yah. my grrL does antique fair stuff a lot and we have some arty friends that rent spaces at fairs. in Cali booths run between $150-$300 usually. best thing to do if you want to go that route is find somebody you know that does that (nerdy stuff sells at antique spots as well as conventions) and see if you can pay them a fraction of the cost to sit at a section of their spot?

I am kind of paranoid to craigslist because I have so much of it and it is in the same room as my music stuff. If I sell something on craigslist I have it in my livingroom when the person comes over. I havte people knowing all the loot in my house.

Behndy, yeah, I need to figure out a solid place to sell. The next town over is well known for antiques and I could rent a display case and pay by the month. The best time to do it is during football season when people are stopping in there to and from the game.

yeah. it's not my thing, but The Mayu buys loads of antiques stuff Out Here then sells it for way too much Out Thar, so we hit lots of places when she's in town. while she's looking at Valuable To Everybody stuff i usually wonder around at look at the assorted nerderies.

a consignment place would probably save you some monies too i think?

oh jia. i've seen lots of places where they have a "Larger Collection Available - Please Contact My Nasty Ass" type sign up. so if you fond a few different consignment places that don't charge much for a spot that might help too?

Don't do consignment bro. If you're lucky you'll get half the selling price.
