I will probably get csGrain eventually. It looks really sweet though. Check out TC-11. For more iPad apps to check out look at this thread: viewtopic.php?f=149&t=27691

yeah! csgrain is really cool. i know the full scale csound app will be mindblowing...
sort of OT, but i took a csound class as well as some other DSP courses with dr. boulanger (the man behind csgrain) while at berklee. he's a really amazing person and i totally support his stuff! i actually randomly sat in on the debut of csgrain in a csound class while i was in boston a year ago or so. it was rad and alwyays a huge pleasure to say hey to dr. b...
csGrain is my most used ipad app. love processing live feeds through it (guitar, grendel, moisturizer etc.). ran my bands whole mix through it the other week - was itchin' to granularize the live mix - was freakin cool. its a very inspiring tool. i'm always bouncing tracks from other apps into it and regranularizing old ones. i've had it since it came out and still find new uses - but hope they come out with a substantial feature upgrade this year. woud like to see more modulation, ability to interact with the waveform (like Samplr), a fuzz section, glitch option (like Glitchbreaks). I'm guessin they'll at least become Audiobus enabled to make it easier to integrate with other apps.
The closest thing to csGrain in pedal form (at least as I could find) is the Red Panda Particle (which I highly recommend)
Agree that TC-11 kicks ass
Here's some sample stuff I've done with csGrain [soundcloud]https://soundcloud.com/keithgerr/in-frustration[/soundcloud]

yeah i can't wait to see the full csound app.
i took csound with Dr. B at NYU a while back. was hard to get my head around it back then, though I did get some cool results I didn't have the attention span for programming so ditched it in favor of rocking out no guitar. need to get back into code.
