I think you're gonna end up missing that Phat Phuk B.

I only use it for a little bit of grit because I don't believe in "clean" tones. I used it with other fuzzes to give that little bit of oomph to them. Right now I have two Rat-based pedals and I can set one to a similar tone I got from the Phat Phuk. A low gain Rat into a high gain Rat is something everyone needs.

I can always get another PPB, but I'm getting GAS and need to try other pedals before settling. I've been considering an Xotic Bass BB to replace it.

Nah, Mr. Pelican, I totally understand, but I've got a Phat Phuk and a Phat Phuk B and they're great for adding a little chime, sparkle and shimmer to an already blasting fuzz.

Adds just a touch of that extra dimension.

Yeah, I basically used it to push the other fuzz pedals harder. I just figure it'll end up being used less because I can do the same thing with the Rats.

There's probably a good chance I'll get another one someday. There are a few boost/light OD pedals I'm interested in.

Last night I think my fiance was a little down that I spent the entire night building instead of watching The Candidtate with her like we were supposed to, so I made up for it by turning the heat down a few degrees so we could cuddle all night. CUDDLE. ALL. NIGHT.

My simple dream board has all been purchased!
Piitchblack -> fuck -> algal bloom -> m5 -> el cap -> source audio reverb

Should be all I need for a year so I can save up for an overseas trip :)

Always very strange seeing this sort of thing on forums. How old are you if you don't mind me asking?

Now you can make it up to me by building me pedals and cuddling up next to me. We will not watch The Candidate. We will watch horror movies.
