Parents, they just don't understand. I said don't touch my double bass, and ya know what happened, my dad touched it!

Mild irritation
I hear you... I love my mom, I mean, she's one the coolest people I've ever met, really.
But she will just not stop buying me clothes. I tell her, 'cash gifts only please'! 30+ years and she still buys me things I'll never wear, from stores I'll never shop at. Now I have 4 oversized longsleaved shirts I have to return/exchange at a department store I fucking HATE setting foot in... At least they sell the jeans I wear most of the time... I'd just donate them to good will, but that would be disrespectful of her efforts towards me, her child, so...
Still, 'mom, cash or nothing, please! I can dress myself, honest, I'm like, totally a grown man now'...
Don't get me wrong, I'm very grateful for her, and compared to a lot of my friends mom's growing up, she is by far my favorite. But I haven't needed her to shop for me since I was a kid, and that was a loooong time ago.

It really sucks sometimes to do the right thing and NOT buy things that are great deals with my credit card. I found a Moog FreqBox for $275 today. They never go that low and I bet I could talk the guy down...

$275...new?
I have found them used for a good bit cheaper than that.

Used. I talked the guy down to $240, went to try to do it, and Bill Me Later said 'NO'. Thank you, Bill Me Later, for being my ball and chain to reality

Naw, right before Christmas seems to be the worst time to sell stuff.

It will get better. For now just use those feelings to write heartbreaking songs.
It is indeed, a few weeks now.
At least writing heartbreaking songs is what I do best.
Thanks bros.

edit for general rants about working retail around christmas time. THE STORE LOOKS SO TRASHED AND EVERYONE SHOPPING IS SUCH A CUNT.
