I just watched a someone's top ten overdrive video.
They were all tube-screamer clones and he had the xotic AC booster in it twice.

Regarding my penchant for hypochondria, I tweeted that I shouldn't be allowed on WebMD and WebMD replied to me all, "Why not?!"

BLUES HEALER

The demo for the swirly one was actually kind of cool, but yeah. The exact same tone. It almost sounds like they tried to make them all sound the same, instead of playing to the natural tones. Also, SO MUCH BLUES WANK.

Played with the cover band at an open mic night (first time playing out). There was hardly anybody at the bar, but the first couple songs went pretty well, until we got to the end of our list of songs we know pretty well. Then things were a little bit rough. Admittedly, I drank more for what we were expecting to play compared to what we actually did (we were expecting 3-4 songs, played over 10). Yeah, but it was overall successful.

Hey The4455,

I get down to Chicago every so often. Either we visit my GF's family, or sometimes I have to go down for work. I know Chicago is a big place with lots of suburbs, but I figure I could get around. So the idea is, if I'm down there over a weekend, is there like, a cool guitar shop with cool owners that we could meet up at and hold a mini ILF meetup at sometime? Thinking we could bring whatever, jam on whatever is in the store, maybe go out to a bar afterward?

I'm looking at you, too, Dubkitty.

Let's make this happen!
