I don't often post personal stuff on Facebook, but everybody's already looking at me with those sad eyes usually only aimed at a dying puppy, so here goes. Yesterday I found out that I definitely have Hodgkin's Lymphoma. That's Cancer. As far as Cancer goes, you could do much worse. It's very treatable and I will be ok. But it's still fucking Cancer.
I don't have tons of information yet. Next week I'll meet with an oncologist who will determine how and when my treatment will begin. HL is almost always treated with Chemo and Radiation, which is going to be tons of fun and totally free. Ha?
I have no insurance. I will probably be accepted into a program that will greatly reduce the cost of my expensive chemo treatments, but it will still be bad.
