HOLY SHIT THE MELVINS + WEEDEATER!?

Weedeater really needs to come to Belgium soon, I'd go fucing insane.

The Melvins are also incredibly awesome live. I saw them when Big Business opened for them; great show.

Yeah its awesome because its an all ages show so I can get in.Downs the headliner though...they suck.

I actually like Down a bit. I saw them last month, pretty good show but I hate their fanbase. Fucking machos who try to impress Phil Anselmo all the time.
You just need a passive bass, a tube amp, and a metric ton of marijuana and Sabbath worship.

Let's see... the last REAL show I went to was Jeff Martin, the former lead singer of The Tea Party. He came back to Toronto to do a 'one-last-time' sort of a deal, just him onstage playing his old favorites to a little bar. It was amazing, a really intimate and personal performance with one of my favorite musicians.

I guess he must've liked it, too, 'cause he came back a few months later for another 'one-last-time' sort of deal. :idk:

But I'm quite pumped. I've got a great few weeks/months ahead for shows.

This Saturday: Tokyo Police Club, Ruby Coast and The Elwins at a tiny bar
Next week: Great Big Sea and Spirit of the West (take me hoooome!)
And my excellent girlfriend got me 100-level tickets to see Metallica when they're coming to Toronto in October for our anniversary!

Now, if only I could've seen Tool and the NIN/JA tour, it would've been perfect.

Dude, cool!

I hadn't heard of Ruby Coast until I saw the poster, but I think they're great. And Tokyo Police Club are great. And The Elwins are great.

Gonna be a great show.
