animoog looks fun as hell
i havent even told my moog jr story

its something i choose
not to think about very often
but it involves a fugitive
a bully
a suicide
a drug addict
and a moog jr
that should be at MY HOUSE right now
but its not
and my best guess is it never will
actually not a chance in hell
im thinkin garageband

Def get GarageBand. It's simple and easy to record ideas and jams and put things in multiple tracks/ some light mixing to flesh out ideas quickly and have a nice working sample track to show band mates or someone on ur ideas

Just got an iPad 2 today. It's awesome. I can finally follow my own advice I'm giving in this thread. So far picked up Samplr and Animoog. Next on the list is Audiobus and some sort of sequencer (wish GB supported Audiobus). Also looking at TC-11 and a bunch of other tasty sounding apps.

If you're planning on getting Moog and/or Korg apps, IIRC they're both doing 1/2 price sales through 12/31, so be quick about it.

Definitely! Think I'm going to pick up Filtatron and maybe iMS-20 but I'm not sure. Think I have enough to play with... just bought GlitchBreaks, DM1, Orphion, and iPulsaret.

I checked again and now it is $15 I got it(AniMoog) and Filtatron. HOLY SHIT! THOSE ARE SOME SWEET APPS!

I don't have or want Garage Band. I am using MT DAW but it doesn't have any instruments in it, I use Audiobus to get the sound into it. I am really stoked, I had high hopes and it seems like they will be met.

Glad your high hopes are being met! Love it when that happens. How are you liking the MultiTrack DAW app?

It is pretty simple, which I don't mind at all. It has enough tools to get the job done. Maybe, if my recording becomes more serious I would consider another DAW but there really is nothing wrong with MT DAW at all.
